Gul Panra is a Pashto singer, born in Peshawar, Pakistan on September 6th,1989. Panra is one of the most popular female performers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan and has extensively toured Pukhtun dominated areas across the world.
Panra started off her singing career in 2010, at the age of 20. During her initial stages as a singer, she sang in Pashto language only in concerts and different marriage functions within Peshawar city. Then she got a chance of entry into the Pashto film industry as a playback singer and performed in more than 20 Pashto films.
In 2015, Gul Panra sang a song "Man Aamadeh Am Persian Song" with Atif Aslam in the 8th season of Coke Studio Pakistan, which made her known all across Pakistan. Panra in this song had sung a Persian version, while Atif Aslam had sung Urdu version.
